Popular Cooking Sauce Used In UK Indian Restaurants Being Recalled 

 

Patak’s is recalling a batch of Patak’s Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce, because hard plastic material has been detected in some of the jars. The UK’s Food Standards Agency has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

 

The Affected Product:

 

  • Patak’s Jalfrezi Cooking Sauce, 450g
  • Best before date: December 2014
  • Batch code: 3178 (printed on the jar lid)

 

If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where you bought it or phone Patak’s customer helpline on 0800 197 1679 (free from a landline).

 

No other Patak’s products are known to be affected.
